We’ve got some new fans.  This week, The Craigs have been picked up by NAB Radio (Charleston, South Carolina), WEVL 89.9 (Memphis, Tennessee), KDTN Radio (Limon, Colorado), and The Right Country (Yelm, Washington).  These fine stations join DekaDance Radio (Bayonne, New Jersey), KQLN 91.3 (Alamo, Nevada), and Sound Machine Radio (Moyock, North Carolina), who added The Craigs last week.

We have added another show date: April 9, 2010 at 10:00 pm, at Adam’s Rib, 1603 The Queensway, Toronto.

We’ve also just learned that our friends at Little Bit of Home are looking for a new home. We’ve been told that once they’re into new digs we’ll be invited to play our previously-scheduled 2010 dates. Until then, stand by.

Happy New Year! And thanks to everyone who showed their support by coming out and buying our CD in 2009.

We had a good turnout at or CD Release Party last night at the Todmorden Legion Hall, in Toronto. Joined by Martin Alex Aucoin on piano and Don Reed on fiddle, we played all of the tunes from our new CD, One Good Thing, and a few vintage country favourites. At the end of the night we handed over $1,000.00 to Royal Canadian Legion Branch 10 Poppy Fund, to support disabled veterans and their families. Thanks very much to everyone who came out (from as far away as Prince Edward Island!) to show their support.

We played Friday and Saturday nights at A Little Bit of Home, a Newfoundland bar on Lakeshore Boulevard, east of Islington, in the west end of Toronto.  What a blast!  Paul and Jim were on fire.  Thanks to Everett and Sue for having us out – and for some fine cod cheeks and hand cut fries!

The Craigs played the Magnetawan Fall Fair on Saturday, September 5.  It was a beautiful day for a fair and the turnout was as good as the weather.  Thanks to everyone who came out to see us and who bought CDs.  We signed a few copies for some fans, posed for some pictures, and had a request for “Canadian Soldier” from a mother with two sons in the navy.

Under the watchful eyes (and ears) of Engineer Norm Barker and Producer Martin Alex Aucoin, the album has now been mixed and mastered.

Our last day of tracking.  It’s been a long process but the tracks are sounding fantastic.
